BLACK POSTAL WORKER CLAIMS INSUBORDINATION FIRING WAS EEOC RETALIATION

PISCATAWAY - (July 31, 2006) -- The Federal Merit Systems Protection Board in
Washington DC reverses Philadelphia District Ruling forcing a June 2006 Final Appeal
to United States Court of Appeals.

James Coe, a Vietnam Veteran, who had a pending EECO case against his manager claims
there was a connection between his protected EEOC grievance and his August 2005
insubordination termination from the Postal Service Processing & Distribution Center
in Edison NJ.

Mr. Coe was initially disqualified for unemployment benefits by the New Jersey
Department of Labor for employment misconduct.

September 2005 the New Jersey Department of Labor Appeals Tribunal issued a written
opinion supporting Mr. Coe, "No disqualification arose under N.J.S.A. 43:21-5(b) as
Mr. Coe was not discharged for misconduct connected with his work."

Mr. Coe claiming to be a victim of employment discrimination faces an uphill battle
before his hearing date to save his career and pension. Mr. Coe hopes most Americans
would agree government agencies like the Postal Service should legally show just
cause before firing Veterans.

Under financial pressure and pro se before the United States Appeals Court in
Washington D.C. Mr. Coe's only hope of survival is public support which could
accelerate the normal (180 days) appeals process.
